Questions to determine: Are you a Born Again Christian?

Does God exist?

The world and indeed the universe were either created or evolved from a collection of atoms. This obviously requires some sort of Big Bang event, gravity to collect the exploding material, and billions of years to become what we see today. What if the Big Bang (or collapsing stars or Black Holes) cannot produce elements like carbon or oxygen, and particle accelerators have pretty much proven that? What if gravity cannot be proved to exist? Ask your favorite physicist to tell you where the energy for gravity comes from. If you are not satisfied with the answer, your only other choice is creation.

Can you communicate with God?

If you chose creation, communication with the Creator is a must unless you believe He created the world for his amusement, and if “God” did do this, why would He be willing to hear from you?

How can you communicate with God?

Humans have had a connection with the Creator or multiple creators since hieroglyphic writing developed. Monkeys and other animals have never shown this ability. Both God and biblical angels (both Satan’s demons and God’s angels) are described as Spirits so where did your Spirit come from, and how do you use it?

If you can use your Spirit, can you explain what it is? If God is in spirit form, can you describe Him? Can you see, hear, taste, smell or touch a spirit? Does God want you to try and do that? If God is too difficult to explain or behold, what if He took the form He gave you, so that you could communicate with Him?

You have several choices here: Buddha claimed to be the re-incarnation of others before him. Zoroaster claimed to be the prophet of the fire god of light Ahura Mazda, who will ultimately win the battle with darkness. Mohammad claimed to be God’s (Allah) prophet. Joseph Smith also claimed to be God’s prophet, and said that Jesus actually visited him. Brahma, Vishnu and Siva are Hindu gods who take the form of idols. Mahdi is a Shiite Imam expected to re-incarnate near the end of the world. Jesus claimed He was God in the flesh. There is only one person who has ever made that claim (aside from spurious nuts who were later proven to be lying).

If you want to prove Jesus was God, how could you do it?

The bible makes the claim (John 1:1 and 1 John 5:7) it is God. Is there anything in it that you can disprove? Such as:

• 6000 year’s old; created as we see it, not molten
• global flood 4500 years ago
• Red Sea Crossing

Take your time here because the law says innocent until proven guilty! One thing that may help is to visualize a pot of boiling water. If you remove it from the burner, it will seek the temperature of its surroundings. The earth’s surroundings are approximately -800° F (-440° C or +2.7K), so is just the sunlight hitting it enough to keep its insides above the temperature of molten rock?

There are dozens of bible versions; they all can’t be correct, so which one will you bet your salvation on?

Take your time with this, but note that the Authorized Version (aka KJV) was compiled by 54 men separated into 6 groups in 3 locations whereas every other one available (except the Codex Vaticanus) was written from Greek texts compiled by 2 men (Westcott & Hort) and those men would not have gotten this far with this quiz, because they denied the 6 day creation event. Vaticanus is a word made from Latin in a process called Dog Latin. I stems from Vatis which means “divining” and Can which means Cain, the world’s first lying murderer. This is not a trick to get you into the KJV; check it out and decide for yourself, because the Catholic Bible is based on Vaticanus text, and Thou shalt not kill is changed to You will not commit murder.

If you believe in God, and Jesus was God in the flesh, you communicate to Him with prayer, and you are reading the KJV bible, does that mean you are a Born Again Christian?

John 3:3 says you must be Born Again to see Heaven, so does that mean you will be judged? If so, what will you be judged on, what you do or what you believe? There are many sincere, Buddhists who desire world peace and harmony, but if Jesus was God, would He be pleased with followers of a guy who taught re-incarnation and 8 chances to get it right? Would He send out Catholic missionaries who follow the dictates of someone they call “Father” when Jesus in Mathew 23 said to never do that? Would He send out Mormon missionaries in the Order of Melchizedek, when He was the only one as described in Hebrews 7?

If you will be judged on what you believe rather than what you do, which part of you will be judged?

You have 3 choices here because this is all you are:

• Body
• Soul
• Spirit

If Jesus Raptures you, perhaps it will be your body, but Rapture is not in the bible, so now what? Bodily translation (resurrection) is in the bible (1 Thess 4:17, 1 Cor 15:51-55), but can your body exist in Heaven when it is a dimension we are not familiar with? If so, why is it changed and made immortal? Will it be your Spirit? This would be like destroying a radio that is playing a song you don’t like; Spirit is just the method of communicating with someone who is also a Spirit. That leaves your soul to be judged, so what are the biblical requirements to pass judgment, and what about your sons, daughters and wife? Paul said:

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31

What about Church or a Temple? Is that where God resides?

…Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands. Acts 17:24

If not hands, then what temples is Paul talking about?

I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. Mat 26:61

As prophesized, Jesus was resurrected 3 days after the crucifixion. The Holy Ghost descended first on the apostles and then on humanity; rejection of this constitutes the only unpardonable sin Mat 12:31. Your body is the temple!

Did God choose people to be saved and others to be damned?

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

This is God’s elect.

When you accept God and become one of the Elect, can you sin and make it into Heaven?

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36.

How can I be forgiven of sins? Can a Priest do this so that I am still accounted worthy?

Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. Mat 9:2

Jesus said that, not the man’s priest.

What does Born Again mean?

You already know, but as Paul once said:

I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 2 Cor 11:3

This can be summed up with KISS, so Keep it Simple Stupid! I’m stupid too by the way!
